Anne Rob

Anne was born in Indonesia and was educated in The Netherlands. Her art education started at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague and she continued her education in the US. Her interest was in metals and she took classes at MTSU for two years from Klaus Kallenberger. She also attended many workshops at the Appalachian Center for Crafts.

Anne’s work is primarily sold in galleries. Over the years her work was chosen in many juried competitions and she earned several awards for her work. She is a member of the Highland Guild. Two of her pieces were purchased for permanent collections in museums, among them the Tennessee State Museum.

Most of Anne’s designs are fabricated in Sterling Silver. Anne uses semi- precious stones, occasionally using faceted gemstones as accents.
